TK Enrollment

• Students who live within Cerritos enrollment boundaries may enroll through the traditional registration process. Registration for the 2025-26 school year begins February 2025.
• Students who live outside Cerritos enrollment boundaries must apply for TK through the magnet enrollment lottery. Applications must be submitted online by January 31, 2025 to be elligible for the lottery. Late applicants will be added to a waitlist.

Matriculating from TK to Kindergarten

• All students who attend Cerritos for TK may matriculate automatically from TK to Kindergarten at Cerritos.

TK Enrollment

• Edison offers TK in English ONLY.
• All students must apply for TK through the magnet enrollment lottery. Applications must be submitted online by January 31, 2025 to be elligible for the lottery. Late applicants will be added to a waitlist.

Matriculating from TK to Kindergarten

• All students must re-apply for kindergarten through the magnet enrollment lottery.
• Students who attend Edison for TK receive a higher priority for the English kindergarten lottery, but not for the Spanish dual immersion kindergarten lottery at Edison.

• Franklin offers TK in English ONLY.
• All students must apply for TK through the magnet enrollment lottery. Applications must be submitted online by January 31, 2025 to be elligible for the lottery. Late applicants will be added to a waitlist.

Matriculating from TK to Kindergarten

• All students must re-apply for kindergarten through the magnet enrollment lottery.
  Students who attend Franklin for TK do not receive a higher priority for the kindergarten lottery.

• Jefferson offers TK in English and Armenian dual language immersion.
• Armenian DLI students must apply for TK through the enrollment lottery. Applications must be submitted online by January 31, 2025 to be elligible for the lottery. Late applicants will be added to a waitlist.
• All other students may enroll through the traditional registration process. Registration for the 2025-26 school year begins February 2025.

• Armenian DLI students who wish to continue at Jefferson must re-apply for kindergarten through the enrollment lottery. Students who attend the Armenian DLI TK program receive a higher priority for the Armenian kindergarten lottery at Jefferson.
• Students who want to enroll in Armenian DLI at R.D. White must apply through the enrollment lottery. Students who attend the Armenian DLI TK program at Jefferson do NOT receive a higher priority for the Armenian kindergarten lottery at R.D. White.

• Students who want to enroll in Spanish DLI at Edison or Franklin must apply through the enrollment lottery. Students who attend the Spanish DLI TK program at Muir do NOT receive a higher priority for the Spanish kindergarten lottery at Edison or Franklin.
