Mental Health Counseling

We believe the well-being of our students is vital to their success. Our district offers a wide range of comprehensive mental health services aimed at nurturing students’ unique needs.

Referral & Intervention Process

  • Once we receive a counseling referral, the student is assigned a psychological services provider (PSP).
  • Parents/guardians are invited to meet with the PSP at an intake meeting to provide informed consent and learn about the counseling process.
  • Counseling goal(s) are developed in collaboration with the student, parent/guardian, and school staff.
  • Counseling services are provided for 12 sessions, after which a discharge plan is created and communicated to the parent/guardian and student.
